This RP male SMA connector is a cable connector which is designed to terminate with thicker coaxial cables to be SMA cable. This SMA plug connector is large barrel in order to feed with LMR400, CFD400, RG8/U, Belden 9913 or H1000 coaxial cable by crimp, and such big SMA cable will be used in base station.
RP SMA connector male is designed to have 50 ohm impedance, and has female pin. RP SMA plug connectors have a coupling nut and the dimension commonly is 8.0mm which allow the screw-mating by wretch.
