This male SMA connector is a cable connector which is designed to terminate with thicker coaxial cables. SMA connector is designed to have 50 ohm impedance, and 1/4-36UNS thread coupling. SMA plug connectors have a coupling nut and the dimension commonly is 8.0mm which allow the screw-mating by wretch.
