Information
The BNC coaxial connector was developed with a two-stud bayonet mechanism for rapid and reliable connection and disconnection.
BNC low-cost connectors typically utilize die-cast and molded components, while performance will not be equal to the industrial or military grade products, BNC connectors are used in broadcast, CATV and CCTV applications crimped with 75 ohm coaxial cables like RG179, BT3002, 2.5C2V, RG59 and RG6U.
BNC connector have 50 and 75 ohm impedance and offer broadband capability from 0 to 4 GHz. The 75 ohm BNC can be used successfully up to 1 GHz.
