MCX connector was designed earlier than MMCX connector which is designed for small space use. This MCX connector is jack (female), and straight type without bulkhead. This MCX jack straight type normally work as RF cable assembly by crimping with RF Coax Cable. The applicable RF coaxial cable is RG174, RG316, RG188, LMR100, RD316 RF coaxial cable. Its plating is Gold over brass and the impedance is 50 ohm.
