Hirose U.FL receptacle U.FL-R-SMT is equivalent of IPEX MHF receptacle 20279-001E-01. Same as other mini coaxial SMT coaxial receptacle, U.FL receptacle has tape-and-reel packing which allows automatic placement.
U.FL receptacle can mate with U.FL plug cable, IPEX MHF plug cable or IPEX MHFII plug cable. The mated height can be 2.5mm or 2.0mm depending on the plug type. We suggest 0.1mm ~ 0.12mm screen thickness on mounting area of board.
