This male SMA connector is a cable connector which is designed to terminate with thicker coaxial cables. This SMA male connector can be terminated with RG188 coaxial cable and LMR100 low loss coax cable.
SMA connector is designed to have 50 ohm impedance, and 1/4-36UNS thread coupling. SMA plug connectors have a coupling nut and the dimension commonly is 8.0mm which allow the screw-mating by wretch.
